Farmers Market

Unfortunately, the Swartz Creek Farmers' Market is no longer in operation. The market may reopen in the future, but there are no immediate plans to do so.

What is it?

The Swartz Creek Farmers' Market is a local grower and artisan market that is sponsored by the Downtown Development Authority. The market has dozens of vendors that offer everything from fresh produce, meats, & honey products to baked goods and specialty arts & crafts. Because of the size and diversity of the market, some specialty vendors change weekly. So, be sure to check out the market regularly!

Also, be sure to enjoy some of the market's special events and entertainment such as the Ice Cream Social, the Pumpkin Harvest, and our live music. We should have a calendar up soon. One of these days I might even post some pictures...wouldn't that be high tech?!

When does it take place?

The Market operates on all Sunday's from 9am-2pm in the months of May through September, and usually a couple weeks in October. We are there rain or shine!

Where is it?

The market location has changed!!! You will now find the market at the much more visible and accessable Centerpiece Plaza at 8048 Miller Road in downtown. This location offers direct access to Miller Road, near Morrish Road and will be well signed to traffic and pedestrians during operation. Click here for a map to this location. The market has public restrooms, green space, shade, and adequate parking. Limited electric and water utilities are also available for vendors.

Please contact City Hall if you have an interest in selling at the market next season.
