Downtown Development Authority

The Downtown Development Authority is a special purpose entity that is dedicated to improving the vitality of downtown Swartz Creeks public places, business environment, and housing. The authority is a nine member body, composed mostly of downtown business owners and residents. The board overseas investment in public works and operations, as well as policy.  As such, some of their effort goes towards the planned expenditure of their funds for improvements and downtown programming, events, and grants. Some of their effort also goes into supporting community activities, recreation, and culture. Below is some information related to their plans, operations, development incentives, and partners.
