CITY OF SWARTZ CREEK CITY 2015 STREET BALLOT INITIATIVE
On Tuesday, May 5, voters in Swartz Creek will be asked to consider a ballot proposal to support streets in the community. The proposal, if passed would enable the city to levy up to 5.7 mills to fund street maintenance and rehabilitation. The following information has been prepared in an effort to address questions that voters might have regarding this proposal.

Morrish Rd. Bridge Open
Many of you have probably noticed the bridge on Morrish Road, South of Miller Road is open again. It was re-opened on Saturday during the Labor Day weekend. There are still some finishing touches to be done, but the bridge is open for traffic again.

Favorite Christmas Display Contest
The Swartz Creek Parks Advisory Board will be looking for the best Residential Christmas Display. Three volunteer members will choose their favorite Christmas displays. Winner's will receive certificates of recognition. Signs with "Swartz Creek Community Favorite Christmas Display" will be placed in their yards.

There were also three businesses were selected by the DDA as winners of the Holiday Lights Contest. They are Lasers Flowers, JT's Restaurant, and Dr. English.
